With this statement, the Bulgarian welders ranked in the top rankings and are recognized as one of the best welders in the world.

The Bulgarian Welding Society (BWS) and the Bulgarian Organization of Welding Coordinators are organizers of the series of events aimed at motivating and raising the prestige of the profession of welder

The main goals of the Young Welding Competitions organized by BWS in the past years are:

• Comparison of the professional level of our distinguished welders with those of their colleagues around the world;

• Exchange of useful experience, international contacts and good practices among young specialists in the welding industry;

• Expanding the professional horizon of the welding personnel;

• Effective enhancement of personal professional motivation, as well as the level of welding training and practical skills;

• Increasing the prestige of the welder profession in Bulgaria.

The Ministry of Education and Science along with the expert assistance of the BWS, the first national competition “Best young welder” for students from vocational high schools was held in the beginning of this year. The students had to compete their welding skills, but at the same time they had to create an artistic welding composition on the theme “The union makes the strength” within the competition. The exhibition of young welders gained international popularity at one of the forums for the Bulgarian EU Presidency held at the Boyana Residence.

Congratulations to our young professionals!
