Classification
This standard will replace BDS EN ISO 3581: 2012. The estimated date for its publication at the national level is 14.12.2016 at the latest. It defines the requirements for the classification of coated electrodes for manual arc welding of corrosion-resistant steels and heat-resistant steels based on the chemical composition of the weld metal seam, type of coating and other properties of the electrode, as well as the mechanical properties of the molten metal, in welded or heat-treated state.
